I landed my first striper on Lake Texoma at 23 years old and had an idea that this could become my favorite fishing spot and one day, I would call this place home. I am living those days and have forged a partnership with a world renowned taxidermist, Pat McGruder, who custom makes our baits. We have fished all over the world and have lived the trophy dreams of a lifetime.
The progression that started as casting a net for live bait and anchoring to dead stick, slabbing and throwing soft plastics, topwater fishing… to our trolling with custom glides, has given us the opportunity to provide the ultimate striper experience on Lake Texoma.
The Boat & Gear
Not only do we have the master baits that we claim to be the magic, we cut through the water with the proven, time tested, 27 foot Outback boat, that is specifically designed for Lake Texoma, powered by a 300 horse power Yamaha Engine.
Texoma is known for weather conditions that change on a dime. I started working Alaskan commercial boats during my summers at University of Montana and have kept my boat skills sharp and consistent. I respect the power of a storm and have the experience to stay safe and make wise decisions under pressure.
